As we are approaching yet another deadline for signing up, I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone of one important fact. We have a Creator who promised to keep us healthy if we live by His Word.
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of YHWH thy G-d, and
wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I
have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am YHWH Raphah [your healer.] Exodus 15:26
Now I realize some of us are just coming into that knowledge and have already done considerable damage in disobedience. I have good news, The Good News.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them
pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up;
and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. James 5:14-15
More promise in writing. Even if we've not been obedient in the past, we can be forgiven!
